The auction pool features an impressive line-up of 332 players, vying for coveted spots among the 10 franchises. Out of the available 77 slots, 30 are reserved for overseas players, adding an international flair to the auction. The player composition includes 214 Indian players and 118 overseas talents, encompassing two players from Associate nations. Notably, the diverse mix comprises 116 capped players and 214 uncapped talents, including two from Associate nations, promising an exciting auction spectacle.
The auction strategically sequences the focus first on Capped Batters and All-Rounders. Players randomly come up from these groups to meet the auctioneer’s gavel.
