Nepal will take on UAE in the 7th Place Playoff Semi-Final in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 on Sunday, 02 July 2023 at 12:30 PM IST. Nepal’s performance in their last game against the Netherlands was not so good, resulting in a one-sided affair as well. While Max O’Dowd of the opposing team did well, Nepal’s opening batter Vikramajit Singh struggled as well. However, the Netherlands bowlers, including van Beek, de Leede, Singh, Dutt, and Floyd, did quite well. Unfortunately, Nepal’s batting failed miserably and their bowlers had little to do as well.
On the other hand, UAE’s overall performance in their last match was poor as they fell short of racing the target. Waseem scored 45, Hameed added 39, and Sanchit made 44, but they could not reach the finish line as well. Meanwhile, Barry McCarthy’s beginning spell restrict their momentum, and Andy McBrine, Josh Little, and George Dockrell continued to take wickets as well. Notably, UAE finished the tournament without a victory, leaving them at the bottom of the points table as well.
The match will be televised on Star Sports Network (SS1 SD+HD). However, it will also be live-streamed on Disney+ HotStar and FanCode.
