Sri Lanka will play against Scotland in the 19th match of the ICC World Cup Qualifier 2023 at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on June 27. Sri Lanka have won three games and they are placed at the top of the points table in Group B. Scotland, meanwhile, have a similar record and they are placed in the second position in Group B as well. However, Sri Lanka had played against Ireland in their last match, where Sri Lanka started well even after losing two quick wickets due to a huge third-wicket partnership. Karunaratne hit his first-ever century, which helped Sri Lanka post a massive total of 325 runs on the board. Ireland, on the other hand, started slowly and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. While many of their batters got starts, none of them could able to convert them into bigger scores, and Ireland were bundled out at 192, losing by a huge margin of 133 runs as well.

On the other hand, Scotland had played against Oman in their last match, where being put to bat, Scotland had lost their first wicket on a duck but had a good comeback due to brilliant second and third-wicket partnerships. Brandon McMullen stepped up with the bat for Scotland, smashing 136 off 121 balls. Scotland had given Oman a massive target of 321 runs to chase down, but Oman failed to do it as Scotland won the match by 76 runs as well. Seeing this, a good contest can be expected as well.
