The fifth match of the Super Sixes of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 will see the Netherlands play against Oman at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on Monday, July 3. The Netherlands have played three matches so far and they have only managed to win one as well. While they lost to Sri Lanka in their last Super Six game, they will certainly be trying to win in their next game against Oman as well. Logan van Beek and Bas de Leede claimed three wickets each as it helped them as well. Wesley Barresi (52) and Scott Edwards (67*) hit half-centuries but it wasn’t enough as they got bowled out on 192 to lose the match by 21 runs.
Oman, on the other hand, are placed at the bottom of the points table. They have failed to win a single game so far as well. They lost to Zimbabwe in their last match. Fayyaz Butt picked up a four-fer but the Oman bowlers failed to restrict them as Zimbabwe posted 332 on the board. In reply, Kashyap Prajapati smashed a brilliant century but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and they eventually fell short of the target by 14 runs. Seeing this, a good contest can be expected as well.
The match will be televised on Star Sports Network (SS1 SD+HD). However, it will also be live-streamed on Disney+ HotStar and FanCode.
