With a tentative calendar that features 15 host cities across 12 nations and four continents, the Wanda Diamond League will set new standards in 2023. This will be the 14th edition of the largest one-day meeting series in track and field and will be the first one with a final staged in the United States. A series of 14 competitions will take place between May and September, with the top competitors earning spots in the two-day Wanda Diamond League Final at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon, on September 16 and 17, 2023.
The Kamila Skolimowska Memorial meeting, which originally took place in 2022 on a temporary basis to make up for the cancellation of both the Chinese legs owing to the pandemic, will reappear to the Road to the Final in 2023. On July 16, Silesia will play host to a Wanda Diamond League meeting for the second time. Silesia will be a full member meeting from 2023 to 2027. The London Diamond League will be played in the London Stadium for the first time since 2019 on July 23, and Herculis Monaco will follow on July 21. This will mark the series’ return to London after a three-year absence.
However, the dates of the two Chinese meetings in Shanghai and Shenzhen are set for July 29 and August 3, respectively, in 2023. The Wanda Diamond League Final will be held in the Prefontaine Classic in the United States for the first time ever rather than in Zurich or Brussels. The 32 Diamond League champions will be announced over two days of top athletic competition in Eugene for the 2023 season finale on September 16 and 17.
The LIVE Streaming of the Wanda Diamond League isn’t available yet. We will update it on our website once it is known.
