The TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon, scheduled to take place on October 16, 2022, is the biggest running race in Canada and the grand finale of the Canada Running Series. Since 2017, the race has acted as the Athletics Canada National Marathon Championships and the Olympic Trials. The TCS Charity Challenge raised almost $3 million for 151 community charities during the 2021 hybrid event. Kenya’s Philemon Rono (2:05:00) and Magdalyne Masai (2:22:16) presently hold the men’s and women’s marathon records respectively in the road running event.

10:00 am – 11:00 am Pre-Race Press Conference – Hall D, Enercare Center, Exhibition Place
11:00 am – 12:00 pm TCS go Innovate Together (goIT) Student Innovation Challenge, Speakers Series Stage – Hall D, Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place
11:00 am – 8:00 pm TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon Expo and Race Kit Pick-up – Hall D, Enercare Center, Exhibition Place.
Saturday October 15
9:00 am – 10:00 am International Friendship Run – 3K shakeout run – Hall D, Enercare Center, Exhibition Place. Run leaves promptly at 9:15 a.m.
10:00 am – 6:00 pm TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon Expo and Race Kit Pick-up – Hall D, Enercare Center, Exhibition Place.
