Satoshi Kojima tweets after his AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door with CM Punk 

Satoshi Kojima is still without a win, he expressed his appreciation for the chance and his opponent in a series of tweets.

Satoshi Kojima, not KENTA, was brought in to face CM Punk in the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament on Sunday night at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Even though the legendary wrestler from Japan is still without a win, he expressed his appreciation for the chance and his opponent in a series of tweets on Monday. “Come to think of it, why did the company decide to match me with Punk?” Kojima initially tweeted. “But I don’t care what happened. The important thing is that my experience has improved. I am honored to continue this job. Thanks Punk-san.”

‘Because you’re a legend!’

A few hours later, AEW President Tony Khan replied with a straightforward “The Mandalorian” GIF that simply said, “Because you’re a legend!”Kojima said, “Thank you for making my day wonderful. I appreciate it. In a tweet, the 52-year-old celebrity also gushed over Punk, writing, “His appearance was charismatic. I spent some time staring at him in shock.He was really spirited.

IWGP Heavyweight Champion

After nearly 15 minutes of in-ring combat, the two-time reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion gave “The Best in the World” everything he could handle before losing to the GTS. He did clarify that it was an accident, however, and apologized for the elbow drop to Punk’s genitalia that fans won’t soon forget.

Khan praised Kojima

But this time there were no more words to express his gratitude, so Khan thanked Kojima once again, thanking him for making an appearance and praising the match. He ultimately chose a set of seven emojis instead, which contained five cheerful faces, a loaf of bread, and a heart. Kojima had previously competed for AEW, losing to Jon Moxley at All Out in September 2021.
