Ricky Starks expressed dissatisfaction with his position in the lineup leading up to All Out. After being excluded from All In and having his reported match against CM Punk in Chicago canceled, Starks issued a challenge to WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat for a strap match.
While accepting the challenge, Steamboat revealed that Starks would instead face The American Dragon.
In Chicago’s All Out event, Starks and Danielson engaged in a brutal match, captivating the rowdy crowd. With every ounce of their strength, they relentlessly exchanged fierce blows, each determined to deliver a knockout blow.
After choking The Absolute One with the strap until he passed out, Bryan Danielson declared victory.
Following the intense match, Ricky Starks shared a photo on Twitter showcasing his back. The picture reveals prominent welts resulting from Danielson’s use of the leather strap during the fight.
