Lisa Marie Varon talked about how uncomfortable she felt at an AEW event on a recent show on GAW TV. She said that when she went backstage to see her friend and director Sarah Stock, she felt uncomfortable and got looks of disapproval.

I went backstage to go find Sarah (Stock). She goes, ‘Are you gonna come back here to say hi to me?’ I go, ‘Um, can you meet me at the curtain?’ I go, ‘Oh no, all the new talent’ and then of course when I went back there, I got the look like, what the f*ck is she doing here? Excuse my language. I felt uncomfortable.

This is not the first time Varon has talked about how the wrestling business makes him feel bad. In April, Varon said that people backstage at a WWE show were rude to him.

Lisa Marie Varon’s wrestling career: What has she achieved?

Fans know Varon better as Victoria, the name she is known by in professional wrestling. She tried to get into wrestling for the first time in 1999 through her friend Torrie Wilson, who was working for WCW at the time.

This plan didn’t work, though, and in the year 2000, Varon joined the WWE after a chance meeting with Chyna. After a while in the growth system, Varon was moved to the main roster in 2002. She quickly became famous and moved up the card, finally beating Trish Stratus at Survivor Series for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Varon stayed with WWE until 2009, when she asked to be let go because creative told her they didn’t have anything for her. She started working for Impact Wrestling as Tara in 2009, and she stayed there until she was let go in 2013.

Since then, Varon showed up as Victoria at the 2021 WWE Royal Rumble as part of the women’s Royal Rumble match. She came in tenth. Varon made a visit on Impact Wrestling on January 13, 2023, as her old character Tara.
