Baron Corbin lost to Butch during this Friday Night SmackDown episode. Baron was attacked by Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. We can definitely see Baron Corbin vs. Carmelo Hayes or Baron Corbin vs. Trick Williams at the next week’s SmackDown. Carmelo is the favorite heading into the next week’s SmackDown. We just have to wait and see what unfolds next.
On this week’s Friday Night SmackDown, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler came face-to-face with Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre. They are set for the Title unification match on June 23rd. I think most people and fans think that Ronda and Shayna will win easily against them. But it will be interesting to see Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre win against Ronda and Baszler so that the title unification match becomes more interesting.
WWE confirmed that there will be a mixed tag team match on the next week’s SmackDown. AJ Styles & Mia Yim vs. Karrion Kross & Scarlet Bordeaux. This will be an interesting match to see. Karrion Kross attacked AJ Styles on this week’s episode of SmackDown. Our guess is that AJ Styles & Mia Yim will defeat Karrion Kross & Scarlet Bordeaux.
WWE confirmed that a tag team gauntlet match will take place at the next week’s SmackDown. This match will involve 5 teams and the winner will become the number one contender for the undisputed tag team titles. Teams that will compete are the Street Profits, the Brawling Brutes, the OC, the Latino World, and Pretty Deadly. It’s likely that the Street Profits will win and challenge Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles. We will have to wait and see what happens.
During SmackDown, Asuka was presented with the new WWE Women’s Championship. And the former Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair made her return. She said she doesn’t get in a line, she makes the line and challenges Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship title match. We think Charlotte Flair will lose to Asuka if WWE wants to start a feud and a potential storyline involving them.
