The impending return of former AEW EVP, Cody Rhodes, has got everyone talking. From fans to ex-pros, everybody seems to be weighing in on the speculation on when and how the American Nightmare will return.

Former RAW women’s champion, Ronda Rousey, said that she was excited about the possibility of a match between Rhodes and Rollins because she never saw the former wrestle live.

During one of her live gaming streams on Facebook, Rousey said, “The possibility of Seth and Cody. I’m excited about the possibility. I never got to see Cody wrestle live. He left right before I got there.”

Rousey suffers a minor injury

Rousey also said that she sustained a minor injury in the scuffle that she had against Charlotte Flair on last week’s SmackDown. Ronda and Charlotte brawled outside the ring when Flair attacked Rousey with a kendo stick and then later powerbombed her through the announcer’s table.

In the same stream, Rousey said that suffered a tear to her labial frenulum, a tissue in the mouth that connects the upper lips to the gums. She also added that despite the injury, she was fine heading into WrestleMania.

She said, “Oh, I’m totally fantastic, fine. I tore my labial frenulum apparently, which is that little piece of skin that connects your lip to your jaw, my top jaw. I’m so sick and not feeling good right now. Sorry guys if I sound like cr*p. I’ve literally sounded like this all day.”

The former UFC champion took to Twitter after the attack and had this to say about Charlotte. “@MsCharlotteWWE the kind of pain you brag about inflicting on me isn’t even enough for me to eat for breakfast – it’s the pastry I eat with my coffee before breakfast because I don’t want drink my mocha latte on an empty stomach. #AndTheNew #WrestleMania38,”

Ronda returned to WWE in January 2022 at the Royal Rumble where she won and then went on to challenge SmackDown women’s champion, Charlotte Flair, for a match at WrestleMania 38.
