Ronda Rousey has confirmed that she will appear on Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, but she will not be distracted by crowd reaction this time, because her goals have shifted. Rousey was a surprise entry in Saturday’s 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, which she won to earn a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 38. She has yet to announce her opponent, although it is expected that she would face SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, whom she eliminated in the last.

WWE and Rousey have both confirmed that she will return on Monday’s RAW at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, OH, following the Royal Rumble.

Following the major event in St. Louis last night, Rousey was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber. Rousey was asked if she planned on making a big splash with her comeback.

Rousey said, “Yeah it is, I mean, it’s the statement I wanted to make, and I don’t know… that wasn’t a question at all, that was a statement.”

Rousey’s reaction to the big occasion was then asked for by Schreiber. She stated that now that she is a mother, her priorities have shifted.

“Um, I’m gonna go back to my bus and love on my little baby, and that’s really the only thing I care about right now. My priorities have changed.”

After that, Schreiber questioned Rousey why she decided to run tonight after not competing since the main event of WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

“Why? Because it’s the Royal Rumble, and I’ve always wanted to come out and win the Royal Rumble,” Ronda said. “What do you mean, why tonight? What other night would be better?”

Three years after her last WWE match at the same event, Ronda Rousey is returning to WrestleMania. Rousey made an unexpected, but speculated, appearance in The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri, for the 2022 Royal Rumble. She was the 28th of 30 women to compete in the Royal Rumble match.

On Saturday night, Rousey, who was wearing new ring gear, earned the biggest applause of the bout. By defeating SmackDown Women’s champion Charlotte Flair to win the match, the former UFC women’s bantamweight and Raw Women’s champion added Royal Rumble winner to her resume. In the Rumble, Rousey defeated a number of other superstars, including Nikki A.S.H. and Brie Bella.
