Ted DiBiase and his ability to merge superb in-ring performance with an outrageous character helped him become one of the most famous Superstars in World Wrestling Entertainment history. “Everyone has a price for the Million Dollar Man,” he’d tell the public, before demonstrating it in pre-taped vignettes or live demonstrations. DiBiase rose to notoriety in WWE as one of the greatest villains in the promotion’s long and famous history, aided by his devoted sidekick Virgil. So, let’s look back at “The Million dollar Man’s” old rivalries and matches.

Randy Savage

Randy Savage and Ted DiBiase’s feud began at WrestleMania 4 in the finals of a tournament to determine a new WWE Championship. Savage captured the championship for the first time by defeating DiBiase on the grandest stage. An enraged DiBiase fought Savage for months in an attempt to reclaim the championship. Following that, Savage and Hulk Hogan defeated DiBiase and Andre the Giant in the largest bout. Savage’s victory over DiBiase in both tag and singles battles elevated him to stardom, allowing him to settle the rivalry.

Hulk Hogan

Because WWE made Hulk Hogan the face of the organisation for the entire Golden Era, it was inevitable that he’d fight with Ted DiBiase. The majority of the feud was DiBiase recruiting other villainous wrestlers to compete against Hogan in championship contests or singles matches. Andre the Giant’s extremely successful rivalry with Hulk Hogan began when DiBiase hired him as a character in the plot. Hogan always got the best of DiBiase in the different singles and tag matchups to convey the good vs evil theme. Despite the fact that they never had a major PPV main event, DiBiase vs. Hogan had a huge rivalry at the time.

Jake Roberts

Jake Roberts was possibly the most underappreciated star of the Golden Era. Roberts never won the WWE Championship and only appeared in a few major event events. Roberts’ face run earned him a notable programme against Ted DiBiase. Fans cheered when Roberts took the Million Dollar Championship from DiBiase, because DiBiase was generally the one who got away with violating the rules. Roberts was written off television due to an injury caused by DiBiase’s attack, but his comeback included riveting parts that maintained their conflict.
