Mansoor missing from WWE's Saudi Arabia card is bizarre

It's strange that the most significant wrestler in the company isn't on the WWE's Saudi Arabia event.

Several members of the WWE team have arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of the Elimination Chamber event on Saturday, Feb. 19. This is the second time in a row that WWE has put together a card in Saudi Arabia that could be good.

This is one of the most important events for WWE in terms of how much money it makes. For a lot of money from the Saudi government, WWE only has to load up a wrestling card with a lot of their best stars, figure out how to get the huge Elimination Chamber to Saudi Arabia, help spread the Saudi government’s brainwashing to hide their terrible human rights abuses, and maybe leave the middle-carders in a hostage situation while the top guys return home on Vince McMahon’s private jet.

To make sure that the card includes most of WWE’s best stars, look at the full eight-match line-up first. Among the people you’ll see are Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey. Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley are also there. Goldberg and Bianca Belair are also there.

It’s a long list of wrestlers, but there is one name that stands out in particular. The big picture at the top of this post should tell you who I’m talking about. Edge or Randy Orton might be the first things that come to mind. But it’s about Mansoor.

As far back as Super Showdown 2019, Mansoor has been an important part of every WWE show in Saudi Arabia. He was the winner of a 50 man Battle Royal. When Mansoor was done with Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, and Mustafa Ali at Crown Jewel 2019, he would go on to beat them all.

Vocal for Local – Mansoor

Mansoor is the favorite in his home country of Saudi Arabia, and he’s like the Undertaker at WrestleMania when it comes to his home territory.

It’s weird that he isn’t in the Elimination Chamber 2022, but he is. Sure, I don’t even notice when Mansoor doesn’t show up on SmackDown TV. I think WWE will bring him back in the weeks before these events. On February 18, there will be only one more episode of SmackDown TV before this live event.

On Saturday in Jeddah, Mansoor might just show up for a match that may be added to the card at the last minute.

It is speculation but when Shane McMahon was supposed to be in the Elimination Chamber, Mansoor was supposed to be his opponent. This was to follow up on Mansoor taking a bathroom break in his locker room years ago. If Shane O’Mac made a fool of himself backstage at the Royal Rumble and was then “let go” by WWE, he may have swindled Mansoor out of a big payday.
