Carmelo Hayes to defend his NXT title against Bron Breakker

Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker are once again at war for NXT’s top prize, the NXT Championship, which is on the line.

At NXT Stand & Deliver, Hayes defeated Breakker for the title, and the defeat put Breakker into a tailspin that left him unstable and insane.

Will Breakker get his revenge on Hayes?

Hayes gets pushed around the ring by Breakker the alligator. Hayes struggles to escape, but Breakker tightens the headlock. Carmelo tries to rise to his feet, but Breakker tosses him while maintaining the grip. Hayes retaliates and stomps Breakker a few times. For a near fall, Hayes does a springboard crossbody. A Fujiwara Armbar is locked in by Hayes. Breakker tries to counter by rolling up. Breakker is taken to the corner by Hayes, who starts to chop at Bron. Both men exchange chops. Breakker abuses Hayes and nearly falls.

Breakker brings Hayes to his feet while attempting to stretch him. Hayes’ torso gets punished by Breakker. Breakker performs a powerful back suplex for a close call. Another back suplex is countered by Hayes.

Williams takes Hayes to the rope as Bron switches to a torture rack. Hayes is sent to the back by the referee. Breakker strikes Trick and Hayes with a tope after leaping over the top rope. Back in the ring, Breakker gets a near fall after delivering a diving bulldog.

Breakker pounds Hayes with his feet. Tilt-a-whirl facebuster by Hayes. Cutter is struck by Hayes. Hayes blocks a near fall by covering. Hayes ascends to the highest rope. Breakker avoids being splashed. Pump Kick is executed by Hayes. To the apron goes Breakker. For a near fall, Hayes springboard suplexes into the ring.

After a series of maneuvers and countering them both wrestlers pushed each other to the limit. Breakker would have won if the referee wasn’t taken out, Trick hit Breakker on the back of his head with the title belt when the referee wasn’t there. And in the end, Hayes emerged victorious in his fight against Breakker. Breakker himself presented the championship belt to the Hayes after the match.

After losing the championship title Breakker’s personality took a U-turn. After winning against Chase U in his fight, Breakker set his eyes on Hayes and Trick Williams and destroyed both via his signature move spear.

Hayes was hospitalized after getting destroyed by Breakker. But the Champ will look forward to his fight against Breakker inside the ring to retain his NXT title.
