Originally aspiring to be a football player, fate led her to embrace volleyball, and she joined her first team in 2014.
Throughout his career, Russo displayed exceptional skill as a midfielder. He began his career at Club Italia Roma, later moving to Consar Ravenna before landing with his current team Sir Safety Umbria Volley.
