Andrea Drews is a well-known volleyball player. She took the lead in the Best Attackers competition during the preliminary rounds with a 205-68-426 attacking card, good for a 48.12 percent hitting efficiency. With a 69-18-132 attacking card and a 52.27 hitting efficiency after making it to the championship round, Drews once more topped the list of the Best Attackers. She joined the women’s volleyball team at Purdue University after becoming one of the top prep players in the country at Penn High, and from 2012 to 2015, she competed in Division I NCAA competitions with them. Drews participated in the 2019 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Intercontinental Olympic Qualifications Tournament (IOQT) with the USA from August 2-4 at the CenturyLink Center in Shreveport-Bossier City, USA. The USA qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020 after victories over Kazakhstan (3-0), Bulgaria (3-2), and Argentina (3-0). The USA’s FIVB World Rankings points from their second-place finish in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Cup have propelled them to the second-best team in the world as of October 2019. This places them in Pool B for the 2020 Olympic Games. Her subsequent performances elevated her track profile, which ultimately led to her signing an endorsement deal with Adidas.
