This stage welcomes 24 top-tier youth teams from all corners of the world. With a total of 104 nail-biting matches, this championship is spread across two European venues – the cities of Osijek, Croatia, and Szeged, Hungary.

The teams have been strategically placed into four separate groups. With matches unfolding from Tuesday straight through to Sunday, there’s a reserved break on Friday. As the event progresses, the phase will next move to the knockout rounds. This phase contains the Round of 16 to the quarterfinals and semifinals, where the top teams vie for the coveted medals.

On August 9, 2023, the United States will take on Brazil in the quarterfinal of the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U19 World Championship 2023. The United States entered the quarters after comprehensively defeating the Dominican Republic by 3-0. On the other hand, Brazil stormed into the quarters after getting the better of Argentina by 3-1.
