The FIVB Volleyball Men’s Challenger Cup 2023, which serves as the qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League, is set to run from July 28 to 30, 2023. The competition will be hosted at Doha’s Aspire Ladies Sports Hall in Qatar. It will feature eight competing national teams, with four of them – China, the Dominican Republic, Thailand, and Ukraine, making their inaugural appearance in the Cup. In the previous year’s tournament, Cuba prevailed over Turkey in the championship match.

On July 28, 2023, Ukraine will lock horns with China in the second quarter-final at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Challenger Cup 2023. The two teams will be competing in order to earn their place in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2024. This will also be the debut game for the teams in the tournament as they face each other in the quarter-final of the Men’s Challenger Cup 2023. Ugis Krastins and Sheng Wu have been roped with the responsibility of coaches for Ukraine and China, respectively.
