The European Volleyball Confederation is hosting the 33rd CEV Women’s European Volleyball Championship, scheduled from August 15 to September 3, 2023. This contest promises intense competition, with 24 national teams battling for supremacy in venues across Belgium, Estonia, Germany, and Italy. In the previous championship, Italy stood out, securing their victory against Serbia with a score of 3-1. Turkey prevailed by achieving third place.

On August 22, Tuesday, Slovenia will play Hungary in a Pool A preliminary match at the CEV Women’s European Volleyball Championship 2023. Both Slovenia and Hungary have not been able to open their points account at the 33rd iteration of the competition, having lost all their three games.
