The road to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games for men’s volleyball runs through three major cities: Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and Xi’an. As hosts for the FIVB Paris Olympics 2024 Volleyball Qualifier 2023, they will stage a fierce competition for 24 global teams from September 30 to October 8, 2023. Teams are split into three pools, engaging in a thorough round-robin contest. The top two from each group will advance to the Paris Olympics 2024.
Cuba will play the Czech Republic in a Pool A competition in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on October 3, 2023, at the Paris Olympics Volleyball Qualifier 2023 Men. Cuba has won one of the two matches in which they competed in this edition of the tournament, while Czechia has lost both their games. The Czech Republic will be looking to earn their first victory as they face fourth-placed Cuba in the competition.
