The FIVB Volleyball Men’s Challenger Cup 2023, which sets the stage for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2024, is underway from July 28 and will run until July 30, 2023. The venue for the prestigious event is the Aspire Ladies Sports Hall, located in Doha, Qatar. This year will mark the debut of China, the Dominican Republic, Thailand, and Ukraine in the event. In the previous edition, Cuba defeated Turkey and got an opportunity to play at the prestigious Volleyball Nations League 2023 (VNL 2023). Qatar made it to the semis after defeating Thailand by 3-0 (26–24, 25–23, 26–24), while Chile reached the semi-final after comprehensively getting past Tunisia by 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-23). Both teams will be competing to book a berth in the final where the winner gets an opportunity to play the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2024.
