In 2023, the biennial FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship will include a competition between men’s national teams under the age of 19 from the organization’s member associations. The FIVB is the world’s governing body of volleyball. This will be the competition’s 18th year. It will take held in San Juan, Argentina, from August 2 to August 13, 2023. Athletes must have been born on or after January 1, 2005 to be eligible to compete in sports. Poland is presently the world champion.
The FIVB is interested in hosting two age group world championships in 2023: the U19 Boys’ and Girls’ World Championships, as well as the U21 Men’s and Women’s World Championships. On June 2, 2022, the FIVB launched the bidding procedure for member organizations whose countries were interested. The deadline for member organizations to submit expressions of interest to the FIVB was July 29, 2022, at 18:00 CEST (UTC+2). On January 24, 2023, the FIVB revealed the four Age Group World Championship hosts, with Argentina being chosen to host the 2023 Boys’ U19 World Championship.
The event will be held in Argentina on December 20, 2022, according to the Argentine Volleyball Federation. Argentina will host the FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship for the third time, after hosting the event in 2015 and twice in 2011. Italy and Belgium will compete at the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship on August 6, 2023. On Monday, there will be an exciting competition.
