The 2023 iteration of the CEV U17 Men’s Volleyball European Championship is already in progress, having been initiated on July 19, 2023. This competition, structured for participants not exceeding the age of 17, is expected to reach its conclusion on July 30, 2023. The current year’s contest is being staged in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, with 16 teams stepping into the arena. The championship first emerged in 2017, with Italy winning the maiden title. During the latest tournament held in Albania’s capital, Tirana, Slovenia stood out, clinching a decisive 3-0 victory against Russia.

France and Finland presently stand fourth and fifth in the team standings of Group B, with 10 and 8 points respectively. France has won three of their last five matches, while Finland has been able to grab victories in two of their previous five encounters.
