The CEV Men’s European Volleyball Championship 2023 is scheduled to be held from August 28 to September 16, 2023. The premier volleyball tournament in Europe is organized by the Europe’s governing volleyball body, European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). Italy, Bulgaria,  North Macedonia, and Israel are the joint-hosts of the top volleyball competition.

A total of 24 nations will be participating in the Men’s European Volleyball Championship 2023, who are divided across four different pools. The teams that finish in top three will earn direct qualification for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2025, excluding Italy who had previously collected a berth as the reigning World champion.

On October 5, 2022, the CEV made an announcement that Israel will replace Ukraine as the new host of the Men’s European Volleyball Championship 2023, owing to the war-situation in the country. On February 9, the CEV also revealed that Rome will be hosting the semis and medal matches, while Bologna will host the inaugural match set to be held between Belgium and Italy.
