The fourth edition of the Women’s U17 European Volleyball Championship will take place at the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) in 2023. The competition will be held in Serbia and Hungary from July 11 to July 22, 2023. In the first pools, the two organizers received seeds. Serbia is in Pool I, and Hungary is in Pool 2. After being divided into five cups based on their positions in the most recent European Ranking, the remaining 14 teams were drawn.
Both the men’s and women’s teams have completed their second rounds of qualification for the U17 European Championship in 2023. The Balkan nations that have earned a spot in the 2023 U17 European Championship Final Round are Bulgaria, Greece, and Romania for the men, and Turkey, Serbia, and Greece for the women. Before that, the Final Round in the women’s competition—which will be held in Serbia and Hungary as co-host nations from July 11 to July 22—was open to women who were competing in Serbia (the host) or Turkey.
The CEV, the governing body of the sport, is hosting a fantastic international competition that will include the top teams from around the globe. The CEV Women’s U17 European Volleyball Championship will feature a match between Belgium and France on July 16, 2023. This competition features two outstanding teams. Both teams did not compete in the 2022 CEV Women’s U17 European Volleyball Championship. This time both teams will look to make a mark.
16 participants per gender will be a first. The competition’s semifinal rounds had previously featured twelve teams. The first four teams will be chosen based on the results of four zonal association qualifiers, one for each gender, to guarantee their presence in addition to the organizing nations. Poland has already secured the spots that Eevza was expected to compete for at the qualifying events held in December in Georgia and Latvia, respectively, in both the men’s and women’s editions. The qualifying competitions for the other three zonal associations are planned for January. Grunheide will serve as the location for the U17 women’s finals for Wevza competitors from January 4 through January 8. Germany and Belgium, who are the hosts, are among them, in addition to England, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.
