In a recent episode of the OverDogs podcast, Jon Jones showered Conor McGregor with praise underscoring the profound impact the Irishman has had on MMA. Jones expressed his desire to see McGregor return to the Octagon and emphasized that McGregor’s pay-per-view fights will always have his support.

“I’d love to see McGregor come back. He will always get my PPV. I love what he did for the sport,” Jones remarked. “I love the businessman that he is, the mindset, the marketability and he fast-forwarded this whole game up at least 10 years. And he’s always going to have my support.

Conor McGregor’s journey took an intriguing detour when he ventured into the world of professional boxing. After securing the lightweight title at UFC 205 by defeating Eddie Alvarez. McGregor set aside his four-ounce gloves and donned eight-ounce boxing gloves for a highly anticipated bout against legendary boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather. While McGregor ultimately faced a 10th-round TKO defeat it was a testament to his courage and willingness to challenge one of the greatest boxers in history.

Recently, McGregor concluded his stint as a coach on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter and is slated to face opposing coach “Iron” Michael Chandler upon his long-awaited return to the Octagon. The precise date and venue for this showdown remain subjects of discussion but McGregor’s unwavering determination to make the fight happen has been a constant refrain despite skepticism from some fans.
