The UFC is coming to London this weekend for a Fight Night event. And it’s gonna be awesome as the main card is stacked with some crazy fights. Tom Aspinall and Marcin Tybura’s fight will be the main event. Although the card does not have all the big names in it. But the crowd is gonna be on fire.
The last time they were in London for a Fight Night was almost a year ago. Tom Aspinall was supposed to face Curtis Blaydes, and it could’ve been a huge moment for him. But then he hurt his knee and had to take a whole year off. He’s back and ready to go. His opponent this time is Marcin Tybura. He might not be as famous but he’s no slouch. He’s ranked No.10 in the division and he won his last two fights in the UFC.
Aspinall looks like he’s got the upper hand. He’s quicker and hits harder, and I don’t think Tybura will be able to take him down. But here’s the thing Aspinall just had knee surgery. That’s a big deal and we’ve seen fighters struggle after coming back from injuries like that. Tybura has a pattern of beating slower guys but struggling against more athletic opponents. Aspinall falls into that category, so it could be a tough fight for Tybura.
Prediction: Tom Aspinall
Stoliarenko has been fighting at 135 pounds mostly in the UFC. But her last fight was at 140 pounds and she even had trouble making 135 before. Now, she’s trying to make 125 pounds and that sounds risky. And even if she manages to make weight. She hasn’t really shown that she’s a top-level fighter. Her UFC record is 1-4 and she’s been finished twice. McCann had a tough loss in her last fight and missed her chance for a title shot. But before that, she had three wins in a row including two big knockouts. McCann might not be the best grappler as her last fight showed. But she’s tough and hits hard. If she hurts her opponent, she can finish them in a brutal way.
Prediction: McCann
