There are a lot of them, and now it looks like he will never compete in his UFC again. At the UFC Vegas 67 post-fight press conference, Dana White spoke about whether Ngannou would be promoted or not after John Jones announced his fight against Cyril Gaine.
“I have been working on a new deal with Francis for about two years,” he said. White also said that Ngannou didn’t really believe a fight with Jon Jones would happen. Given that the aged Ngannou “never gets any younger,” Ngannou thinks he may have lingering concerns about his post-surgery knee.
