Tennis player Léolia Jeanjean was born in France on August 14, 1995. On November 28, 2022, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) gave Jeanjean a singles career-high ranking of 107. In April 2022, she attained a WTA doubles ranking of 248 which was a career-best. Junior player Jeanjean was gifted, but at the age of 14, he suffered a bad knee injury. Jeanjean participated in Les Petits As in 2008 and made it all the way to the French U14 Championship final. Then, for eleven weeks each year, a league coach is dispatched to La Grande-Motte, where she resides. She was given a wildcard to compete at Roland Garros in the junior singles and junior doubles in 2009, but she was eliminated in the first round in both events. In 2010, she received another invitation but performed worse in singles while advancing to the quarterfinals in doubles with Clothilde de Bernardi.

Leolia Jeanjean made her Grand Slam main-draw debut at the 2022 French Open after receiving a wildcard for the singles event. She defeated world No. 45 Nuria Párrizas Dáz in the opening round to win her first Grand Slam match. She won her first match against a player ranked in the top 10 and second in the top 50 when she overcame eighth-seeded Karolina Plisková, a former world No. 1, 6-2, 6-2, in the second round of the tournament. She was ranked No. 227 and, after No. 409 Daria Saville, who upset Ons Jabeur in Indian Wells, and No. 231 Laura Siegemund, who overcame Maria Sakkari in Stuttgart by quitting, she was the third player this season to defeat a player in the top ten. Conchita Martinez is the lowest-ranked female player to win at Roland Garros against a top-ten opponent since she defeated Lori McNeil in 1988. As a result, she gained almost 80 positions, breaking into the top 150 for the first time in her career.
