Bernarda Pera is an American actress. ( on December 3, 1994) plays tennis for the United States. Pera has won nine singles championships and eight doubles titles on the ITF Circuit in addition to two singles titles and one doubles victory on the WTA Tour. At the 2014 US Open, she made her WTA Tour debut alongside Tornado Alicia Black after receiving a wildcard into the doubles competition. Pera had only won two of her seven main-draw matches in 2022 entering the Budapest Grand Prix, was on a losing skid of five sets, and was once again required to compete in qualification as she was ranked No. 130 in the world. She nevertheless prevailed over Marina Bassols Ribera, the fifth seed Aliaksandra Sasnovich, Elisabetta Cocciaretto, and the ninth seed Anna Bondar to advance as a qualifier to her first WTA Tour singles final. Since Serena Williams’ five victories on clay courts in 2013, Pera is the first American woman to have done so.
