A number of the most talented ATP players will compete at the ATP Atlanta 2021, which is also known as the BB&T Atlanta Open due to sponsorship reasons. The US open series officially begins with this event. It goes without saying that Atlanta will experience a busy week, and tennis fans will be in for a real treat. Despite being an ATP 250 series tournament, many talented players have already indicated that they will be attending. With several up-and-coming American stars anxious to establish themselves on the circuit, the action, which will be played on outdoor hard courts, is expected to be intense and entertaining. 

The defending Australian Open winners, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis, delighted the crowd by defeating Gonzalo Escobar and Hunter Reese 6-4, 7-6(3) to advance to the semi-finals. Kyrgios and Kokkinakis will face the winner of Thursday’s all-American quarter-final between Steve Johnson/ Tommy Paul and Rajeev Ram/ Jack Sock. Kokkinakis is also out of the singles competition after losing in straight sets to American wild card Anders Martin in the first round on Tuesday evening. Kyrgios and Kokkinakis moved to 12-2 on the season with their latest victory.

Sock/Ram and Kyrgios/Kokkinakis will take on each other on Sunday July 31 in the semifinals of the 2022 Atlanta open. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 25 and conclude on July 31 this year.
