Brandon Nakashima and Jiri Lehecka will take on one another in the final of the 2022 ATP Next Gen Finals on November 12.

In order to advance to the semifinals, Nakashima went undefeated during the group stage, defeating Lehecka, Matteo Arnaldi, and Francesco Passaro. In the semifinals, the American faced off against Jack Draper. Early in the first set, Nakashima had a few break points, and she even had a set point near the end, but Draper fought back to hold her serve on both occasions. The American did, however, win the set in the ensuing tie-break.
Despite defeating Passaro and Arnaldi to advance to the semifinals, where Dominic Stricker awaited him, Lehecka lost to Nakashima in the group stage. The Czech took the opening set’s opening point to take a break and quickly served out the set to win it. Lehecka prevailed in the tie-break that determined the second set, taking it to clinch the match by a convincing two-set margin. Stricker broke his opponent’s serve to open the third set, maintaining his advantage to take the set.
Brandon Nakashima and Jiri Lehecka are scheduled to take on one another in the final stage of the 2022 ATP Next Gen Finals on November 12. The tournament is scheduled to be held from November 8 to November 12, 2022.
The eight players at the ATP Next Gen Finals 2022 have been divided into two groups, these are the Green group and the Red group. Each player will play one match against everyone in their group and the top two from each will make it through to the semi-finals. The top finisher of one group will face the second finisher of the other. The winner of those two matches will then meet in the final to decide who will win the 2022 ATP Next Gen Finals crown.
