Jordan Thompson has been in stellar form for the past few months and he will be adamant to perform well in the Indian Wells Masters as well. In his last tournament, which was the Open Sud De France he lifted the trophy beating players such as Cressy, Fils, Sonego, and Fucsovics. At the Australian Open, he made it to the fourth round losing to Tsitsipas in what was a five-set thriller. At the Paris Masters, he couldn’t make it past the first stage mark, and at the Vienna Open, he lost to Medvedev in the quarter-finals after picking up crucial wins against Garin and Francisco Cerundolo. In the ongoing Indian Wells, He beat Sonego in the first-round matchup by 6-4, 7-6.
Stefanos Tsitsipas has been one of the most consistent players for the last couple of months and he will be looking to carry this good run of form at the Indian Wells Masters as well. He has made it to the semi-finals in the majority of tournaments he has played in the last couple of months. He lost to Djokovic at the Australian Open final after beating the likes of Khachanov, Lehecka, Sinner, Griekspoor, and Hijikata. At the Paris Masters, he also made it to the semi-finals losing to Djokovic and at the Stockholm Open, he lost the final to Rune. At the ATP World Tour Finals, he could only achieve a single victory thereby failing to move onto the semis. At Rotterdam Open, he was knocked out by Sinner in the round of 16 stage after beating Ruusuvuori in the first round.
