Jason Kubler hasn’t been impressive at all in the last past few months and he will be more than determined to perform well in the Indian Wells Masters as well. In his last tournament, which was the Qatar Open, he got knocked out in the round of 16 stage to Auger-Aliassime, and in the Manama Challenger, he lost to Shelbayh in the quarter-finals. At the Australian Open, he lost to Khachanov in the second round and at the Adelaide International 2, he lost to Kecmanovic. In the ongoing Indian Wells, He beat Sonego in the first-round matchup by 6-4, 7-6.
Grigor Dimitrov hasn’t been in good touch lately and has been losing all the recent tournaments he has played in. He will be adamant to make a change in fortune and perform well at the Indian Wells. He couldn’t make it past the first stage mark in most of his last tournaments, losing to Lehecka at the Stockholm Open, and to Ivashka at the Sofia Open. He made it to the semi-finals of the Vienna Open thereby losing to Daniil Medvedev and also made it to the third round of the Australian Open losing to Djokovic. At the Rotterdam Open, he made it to the semi-finals before losing to the eventual champion yet again, Daniil Medvedev.
