Gijs Brouwer hasn’t been in good touch lately and has been losing all the recent tournaments he has played in. He will be adamant to make a change in fortune and perform well at the Rotterdam Open. He couldn’t make it past the first stage mark in most of his last tournaments, losing to Virtanen at the Vilnius Challenger and to Collignon at the Koblenz Challenger. At the Quimper Challenger, he lost to Fils after winning the first match against Pospisil, and at the Australian Open, he lost to Diaz Acosta in the qualifying stage.
Marc-Andrea Hueslerhasn’t been in great form recently and looks to start the year on a high. He hasn’t made it to the later stages of any of the major tournaments he has played in the last couple of months. He lost to Rune at the Open Sud De France in the second round and also in the opening round to Millman at the Australian Open. He made it to the round of 16 stage of the Adelaide International 2 losing to Khachanov after beating Rinderknech in the first match and to Auger-Aliassime at the Swiss Indoors in the first round. At the Paris Masters, he made it to the round of 32 stage losing to Khachanov after beating players like Sinner, Laslo Djere, and Gaston on the way.
