Kristaps Porzingis had a career-best performance as the Washington Wizards defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in Monday’s NBA game, and Frances Tiafoe was impressed. The career-high 41 points Porzingis scored helped the Wizards win, and the American tennis star responded. Tiafoe, a native of Maryland, is a huge supporter of several local clubs, including the Washington Wizards. Tiafoe responded to Porzingis’ outstanding performance on social media after seeing it. Tiafoe received support from Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal, who sat in Tiafoe’s player box for several games, including the American teenager’s memorable victory over Rafael Nadal, during his dream run at the 2022 US Open. During the semifinal match against Carlos Alcaraz, he received assistance from other NBA stars in his box.

Thrilled to catch favorite NFL

Frances Tiafoe watched some football action this past Sunday as his favourite NFL team, the Washington Commanders, played at home against the Atlanta Falcons before following the Washington Wizards in the NBA. While in the stadium, Tiafoe briefly seized control of the Commanders’ Instagram feed to share his excitement about seeing the squad play live from the stadium for the first time. Hey guys, Frances Tiafoe here. So excited to be at my first commander’s game, I am enjoying it like crazy and I hope we get the win today against the Falcons,” Tiafoe said in a video on the Washington Commanders’ Instagram stories.

Last week, Tiafoe competed in his final tennis match of the 2022 season, losing to Lorenzo Sonego during the USA’s Davis Cup quarterfinal match against Italy. The USA team was eliminated from the competition after losing the tie to Italy. In the ATP rankings, he is now the second-ranked American player.
