Jack Draper and Arthur Rinderknech are scheduled to take on one another in the first round of the 2022 Paris Masters on Monday, October 31.
Jack Draper has proven this season that he is prepared to perform at the highest level. After reaching and winning his first four Challenger finals, the 20-year-old stepped up to the top tier and made an immediate impact. He advanced to the semifinals in Eastbourne before moving on to the quarterfinals in Montreal. Following his best-ever ATP 100 performance, he advanced to another quarterfinal in Winston-Salem before having reached the third round of the U.S. Open on his debut. These performances, combined with the Challenger title, propelled the Briton from 265th at the beginning of the season to 45th last week.
Arthur Rinderknech had a strong start to 2022 before clay completely derailed his game. But a move back to hard courts transformed his fortunes once more, and he is now finishing the season strongly. Rinderknech has gotten to the quarter final stage in each of the last four tournaments he has played on indoor courts. He advanced to the quarterfinals in Metz and Tel Aviv before reaching the semifinals in Gijon. He recently advanced to the main draw after winning the qualifying rounds, and he defeated Marin Cilic on his way to the quarterfinals. Holger Rune eventually stopped the Frenchman from reaching the semifinals.
Jack Draper and Arthur Rinderknech are scheduled to take on one another in the first round of the 2022 Paris Masters on Monday, October 31. The tournament is scheduled to be held from October 31 to November 6, 2022.
