10th seed Cameron Norrie has been a major threat to every opponent in the last few months as he has been in scintillating form. After missing out on the title at the Argentina Open losing to Alcaraz in the final, he will be absolutely desperate to clinch the ongoing Indian Wells Masters title. He couldn’t make it past the third round at the Australian Open losing to Lehecka and at the ASB Classic, he again missed out on a well-deserved title as he was beaten by Gasquet in the final. At the Paris Masters, he was knocked out by Moutet at the round of 32 stage and at Vienna Open, he lost to Giron at the round of 16 stage. He recently won the Rio Open by beating the young prospect Alcaraz in the final. In the ongoing Indian Wells, he beat Wu in the first-round matchup by 2-6, 4-6, and in the round of 32 matchup, he beat Daniel by 7-6, 5-7, 2-6. He beat Rublev in the last-round matchup by 2-6, 4-6.
14th seed Frances Tiafoe hasn’t had the nicest of performances in the past few months and he will be adamant to perform well in the Indian Wells Masters as well. At the Australian Open, he made it to the third round losing to Khachanov, and at the Dallas Open, he made it to the quarter-finals losing to J.J. Wolf. At the Mexican Open and the Paris Masters, he also made it to the quarter-finals but eventually lost to Fritz and Auger-Aliassimes respectively. In the ongoing Indian Wells, he beat Giron in the first-round matchup by 6-2, 6-2, and in the round of 32 matchup, he beat Kubler by 6-3, 6-2. He beat Tabilo in the last-round matchup by 6-4, 6-4.
