One of the final two ATP 500 events of the year, the Erste Bank Open, will take place from October 24 to October 30 in Vienna, Austria.
The Erste Bank Open was established in 1974 and is now an ATP 500 event played on indoor hardcourts. Prior to being an ATP 500 event in 2015, it was a part of the Grand Prix tennis circuit from 1974 to 1989, the ATP World Series from 1990 to 1995, the ATP International Series Gold/ATP Championship Series from 1996 to 2008, and the ATP 250 from 2009 to 2014. The top four seeds in Vienna are Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, and Taylor Fritz.
