A star-studded Diriyah Tennis Cup

The Diriyah Tennis Cup is an exhibition competition that will take place outside of Riyadh, the Saudi Arabian capital. This will be the second iteration of the event after the debut in 2019. The tournament’s inaugural champion, Daniil Medvedev, will return to defend his title. Former Grand Slam champions Daniil Medvedev, Dominic Thiem, and Stan Wawrinka will all compete in the competition. Hubert Hurkacz, Taylor Fritz, Andrey Rublev, and Stefanos Tsitsipas, four competitors ranked in the top 10, will all be competing. The tournament will also include Matteo Berrettini and Nick Kyrgios, respectively, the 2021 and 2022 Wimbledon champions. Dominic Thiem, the winner of the 2020 US Open, visited his hometown of Vienna earlier this week to spend some time with his family. Prior to the competition in Saudi Arabia, Thiem posted photos of himself having fun on Instagram.
