On Friday, June 23, ONE’s weekly Asia primetime event series returns with the most packed edition yet. The action-packed ONE Friday Fights 22 was broadcast live from Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. It featured two World Title fights as well as several of the top personalities in the worldwide Muay Thai and MMA communities.

In a World Title unification match, incumbent divisional king Arjan Bhullar faced interim titleholder Anatoly Malykhin in a long-awaited clash to become the undisputed World Champion. In addition, the legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao sought vengeance against fiery adversary Prajanchai PK Saenchai in a rematch for the ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Title.

Arjan Bhullar couldn’t stop Anatoly Malykhin

Anatoly “Sladkiy” Malykhin has successfully defended his ONE Heavyweight MMA World Title. The unbeaten Russian superstar overpowered and finished reigning ONE Heavyweight World Champion Arjan “Singh” Bhullar in their long-awaited unification match on June 23 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Malykhin entered Friday’s fight as the interim champion, but he won the undisputed championship with a convincing third-round TKO of his hot competitor.

Prajanchai PK Saenchai knocks out Sam-A Gaiyanghadao

Prajanchai PK Saenchai defeated famed striker Sam-A Gaiyanghadao for the second bout, this time claiming the ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Title. The 28-year-old former divisional king dispatched Sam-A in round two, knocking him out at 2:10 of round two at ONE Friday Fights 22 on June 23 in Bangkok, Thailand. Prajanchai, who defeated Sam-A for the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title in July 2021, was smarter and avoided the assaults while watching for his opponent’s opportunities.
