AMUL — Anand Milk Union Limited — the dairy company, came up with a tribute for speed demon Umran Malik, who bowled the fastest bowl of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The Jammu & Kashmir express clocked 154 kmph in the match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which has been registered as the fastest bowl of the season so far. And to pay tribute to it, the dairy giants came up with a perfect new creative.

AMUL is known for grabbing eyeballs of one and all with its creatives. It has celebrated many sports personalities and members from other fraternities for their achievements with its delightful work. However, on Monday, it celebrated Malik for showing his pace which has rocked the lucrative tournament and earned accolades from cricket pundits all across the globe.
Malik could be fast-tracked into the Team India squad, courtesy of his impressive bowling performance in the IPL 2022. It is unlikely that the national selectors, who have been closely monitoring the new talents in IPL, pick up a new squad for the five match T20I series against South Africa starting from June 9 but Malik could be made an exception. His ability to bowl consistently at 150 kmph has made a strong case for him to be fast-tracked into the national team with former India captain Sunil Gavaskar strongly backing him for the selection.
“I always bowl fast but I’ve been trying to bowl better lines and lengths. Plan was to rotate between between my plans. Idea was to attack the stumps and it’s worked well for me. 155 (kph), hopefully it happens, but the main goal is to bowl well and pick wickets for my team,” Malik had said in a post-match interview and well went on to achieve the feat.
