Manchester Storm will take on the Belfast Giants in the Elite Ice Hockey League on November 11 at Planet Ice Altrincham. The Steelers lost 6-4 to the Manchester Storm in Saturday’s final round-robin game of the Challenge Cup. It may have had no effect on the Steelers’ standings in the competition, but the game was played with great hostility with a series of penalties, fights, and incidents throughout the game. An incident-packed the first half and just eight seconds after he started the action. Chays Ruddy is back in the Storm line-up after he collided with Davey Phillips in the arena two weeks ago, but moved just behind Phillips, just eight seconds later he was five and five minutes behind. A cheating penalty was imposed. He immediately went to the dressing room in Manchester. The Steelers capitalized on his one-man advantage with two power plays on his hits.

Steelers easily top the group and qualify for the quarter-finals. Manchester travels to Nottingham on Sunday to try and win every match against the Panthers.
