The PGA TOUR Q-School 2023, presented by Korn Ferry, is scheduled from December 14 to December 17 at two venues in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida – the Dye’s Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass and Sawgrass Country Club. The golfers have a chance to win a part of the substantial $510,000 prize pool. The event is critical for players as the top five, along with those tied, after completing 72 holes over four rounds, will be granted PGA TOUR memberships for 2024. Additionally, the next 40 players, including ties, will earn spots on the Korn Ferry Tour, while another 20, with ties, will reserve their positions in PGA TOUR Americas.
This is the first time since 2012 that PGA TOUR cards will be earned through Q-School. On Friday, Kyle Westmoreland showed remarkable focus and skill at the TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley Course as he achieved birdies in five of his first eight holes, culminating in a score of 64. This performance advanced him into a tie for the 36-hole lead at 7-under-par 133. Westmoreland now shares the top spot with Harrison Endycott, who scored 68, and Blaine Hale Jr., who scored 66 at the Sawgrass Country Club.
