The Investec South African Open Championship is underway from November 30, continuing until December 3, 2023. Hosted by the Sunshine Tour in South Africa, the event receives co-sanctioning from the DP World Tour, which has launched its 2024 season with the championship. He is presently challenged by young South African talent Casey Jarvis, who is part of a trio including Matteo Manassero and Joakim Lagergren, being tied second, all aiming to catch up with Svensson at the Blair Atholl Golf & Equestrian Estate. Svensson finished his second round on Friday with a score of 67, putting him at nine under par. He aims to script his name as the third Swede to win the Investec South African Open, a feat last achieved by Henrik Stenson in 2012, with Mathias Grönberg being the first in 2000.
