Pedro Neto, a Portuguese professional football player, plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Portugal national team. Neto began his career at Braga and was loaned to Italy’s Lazio in the summer of 2017. In 2019, he signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers, making his debut in the UEFA Europa League and the Premier League shortly after. Born in Viana do Castelo, Neto joined Braga’s youth system at 13. He made his professional debut with Braga’s reserves in May 2017, becoming the club’s youngest-ever goal scorer in the Primeira Liga a week later.

In August 2017, Neto was loaned to Lazio for two years with an obligation to buy. Neto joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2019, debuting in the UEFA Europa League and the Premier League, where he scored his first goal. He extended his contract in October 2020. However, he suffered a knee injury in April 2021, keeping him out for the rest of that season and most of the following one. He returned in February 2022.
On his 22nd birthday in March 2022, Neto agreed to a contract extension until 2027. He scored his first goal post-injury in May. Neto reached his 100th competitive appearances for Wolves in September 2022 but later sustained an ankle injury, returning to play in March 2023. Internationally, Neto made his debut for Portugal’s under-21 team in September 2019 and received his first senior team call-up in November 2020. He made his senior debut and scored his first goal for Portugal in a friendly against Andorra.
