Jacob Murphy, born on February 24, 1995, is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a right winger for the Premier League club, Newcastle United. He made his debut in an FA Cup match for Norwich City in January 2014 and has had loan spells at Swindon Town, Southend United, and Sheffield Wednesday. He’s also the twin brother of professional footballer Josh Murphy and a nephew of former Ipswich Town utility player Tommy Parkin. Murphy joined Norwich City’s youth setup in 2006 and was part of the Norwich City youth team that won the 2012-13 FA Youth Cup. He signed his first professional contract with Norwich City in January 2013.
