Joselu was born on March 27, 1990, in Stuttgart, Germany, is a Spanish professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Real Madrid and Spain national team. Starting his journey in the youth ranks of Celta Vigo, Joselu showed promise as a young talent. He made his professional debut in 2009. He then joined the youth system of Real Madrid and made his first team debut in 2011.

In 2012, Joselu made a move to Germany, signing with Bundesliga club 1899 Hoffenheim. During his time at Hoffenheim, Joselu continued to hone his abilities as a striker, showcasing his ability to find the back of the net.
