Curtis Jones, born on January 30, 2001, is a professional footballer from England who currently plays for Liverpool, a Premier League club. Jones started his journey with Liverpool when he was just nine years old. He made his debut with the U23 team in January 2018 and subsequently signed his first professional contract on February 1, 2018. In the 2019–20 season, Jones made his debut for Liverpool on September 25, 2019, in a match against Milton Keynes Dons in the EFL Cup, where he was named the man of the match. He also scored the winning penalty in a penalty shoot-out victory against Arsenal in the same competition. His Premier League debut came on December 7, 2019, when he entered the game as a substitute against AFC Bournemouth.

On January 5, 2020, Jones played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s victory over Everton in the 2019–20 FA Cup, scoring his first goal for the club with a stunning shot from 20 yards. This made him the youngest goalscorer in a Merseyside derby since Robbie Fowler in 1994. On February 5, 2020, he became Liverpool’s youngest-ever captain and led the youngest starting lineup to a victory over Shrewsbury in an FA Cup game.
